Hi guys!  SCAWTHORPE WIZ was a comic that was created in 1990-91 by...... well we wont go there.
It was just a fun look at some of the characters that lived in Scawthorpe (yes the one in Doncaster) at that time. Some of them are still here, but many of them have since moved to pastures new and will only be here in memory.
 
Unless you were living in Scawthorpe in the early 1990's, you probably wont get most of the jokes. You had to be there. You had to know the people to fully get where we were coming from. 
 
Some of the language in the mag was quite strong, but that is the way it is in real life. If you don't like it , don't read it. No offence was intended by any of the characters and as far as we know none was taken. (Yes they did see themselves in there)
 
There were only 2 editions of Wiz and only a limited amount were printed, but all sold out immediately. If you still have a copy of either edition we would love to know. Especially if you still have the free chip fork that came with number 2. (Just leave a message in the guestbook)
 
If you are under 18 years old and are reading this, make sure your parents don't catch you or they will make you go to bed without your supper and sleep without the landing light on.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this web site and remember there are only 2 things that people care about, f***ing and football. And you have to get into the box to score at both.
